SUPPORT OTHERS – witnessed something that doesn’t seem right? We all have a responsibility to help keep others safe and tell someone, anonymously if you wish.
TRAVEL INFO – quick access up-to-date travel information so you can plan your journey safely.
Why you need this app:
We all have a responsibility to help keep each other safe.
Whether you commute via Metro or head out to the shops on the bus, this app has been designed to make it easier to tell someone about any crimes or concerns or get support.
People often don’t know whether to report things and when they do they’re unsure of who to go to and how to go about it.
This app solves that problem by guiding you through the routes to get the help that’s right for you and others or make travel in our region safer.
It keeps things simple, but keeps you safe.
We use open data from public transport agencies operating in the Northumbria Police Force area:

This app has been developed by Police and Crime Commissioner Kim McGuinness’s office in conjunction with Rape Crisis, Northumbria Police and the travel operator partners listed above.
It is part of an ongoing Safer Streets commitment to tackle Violence Against Women and Girls and improving safety on public transport.
